We humans have three elements within that we can invoke to contemplate about Brusm. The intellect, or the mind, or the intellect mind combination.

Lingam - one unique aspect of Lingam is its geometrical shape, which is shaped as that of an ellipsoid, seated on another geometrical shape, stabilized in a slight depression in the middle and the seat shape pointing to the Polaris, the North Star.  To meditate, one sits in front of Lingam facing east, thus body sensors are synchronous with the Earth’s, your seat is in the direction of rotation and revolution.

When we contemplate about Brusm using our intellect, which is void of feelings, we contemplate Brusm as infinite, beginning-less, endless, like the surface of an ellipsoid, where a starting or an ending point cannot be visualized, leading to infiniteness. You, aligned to the Polaris, are in the center, and Creation apparently revolves around you in all directions.

When we contemplate about Brusm using our mind, void of logic, but seat of emotions/feelings, our mind feels that Brusm wears Creation as a garland, which resembles the Lingam shape, as all garlands resort to this shape when worn.  This garland has a unique surface, outside of which is the created Creation, with the sound “OM” manifesting, and inside is soundlessness, void of Creation.

Then, there are some who contemplate about Brusm using the intellect mind combination.  For these, moving along the same time axis, have not evolved far enough yet to be able to differentiate between intellect and mind; it is a combination shape from which life came forth as known to the primitive humanoids, in conjunction with yoni, resembling a phallic shape.
